WEEKLY REFLECTION 1st WEEK (10/01/2022-15/01/2022)

10/01/2022

MONDAY

First day of first phase teaching practice. Reached the school at 9:30am and signed the attendance register. Due to the pandemic situation the classes were till 12:45pm. We already collected the portions to teach and prepared the lesson plans. Covid precautions were strictly followed during the teaching. I went to the class at 10:00 am and after having an informal talk I taught the students. After the last bell at 12:45pm I went to my home.

11/01/2022

TUESDAY

I reached the school on time, signed the attendance register a and went to the staffroom. Today I had to take the second hour English class at 8th standard. I taught the poem. Asked the students to form groups and gave them a space to share their ideas in groups. After the last bell at 12:45pm I went to my home.

12/01/2022

WEDNESDAY

I reached the school at 9:45am and signed the attendance register. Then waited for the fourth hour of the day. It was a tough time for the teachers and the students. The pandemic condition is increasing day by day. I gave the main points of the poem. Students enjoyed the class. After the last bell at 12:45pm I went to my home.

THURSDAY

I reached the school at 9:45am and signed the attendance register. Today my English faculty came to Ayira school to observe the teaching practice. Students were absent in the class. Attendance was not strict due to covid situation. I took the class and gave notes to the students. After the last bell at 12:45pm I went to my home.

SATURDAY

This was a special class because Friday was a public holiday for Pongal. I reached the school at 9:45am and signed the attendance register. I had third hour. It was an interesting class. I gave equal attention to everyone. After the last bell at 12:45pm I went to my home.
